Utah State University (USU) is looking for a ServiceNow Apprentice Developer to join their Process Design & Development team to design, develop, document, maintain, and support ServiceNow applications and catalog items, aiming to improve the university's operational processes through powerful software solutions.
Requirements
- Experience with JavaScript
- Experience on integration technologies such as Web Services, REST, API.
- Experience with Bootstrap, AngularJS, and CSS.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and customize catalog items and applications in ServiceNow - from collecting & understanding organizational requirements, design & development, testing, documenting, writing implementation plans, and execution of those plans.
- Transform business and functional requirements into detailed technical designs that represent actionable development tasks.
- Ensure technical designs meet business and functional design requirements as well as maintain the integrity and sustainability of the application.
- Define and meet standards for implementations in ServiceNow to ensure consistency and supportability of customizations.
- Develop test cases for functional and regression testing.
- Develop and test ServiceNow customizations including, but not limited to: user interface (UI), workflow administration, report setup, data imports, API integration, custom scripting and third party software integrations.
- Recommend corrections to enhance system and application performance.

- Executes according to project schedule and manages timeline and communication during all phases of the project life-cycle.

- Provide tier-two support to end users and Service Desk personnel.
