Enterprise Technology at UT Austin needs to lead complex design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions to support business processes and services, ensuring high-quality solutions that meet business needs considering schedule, accessibility, performance, and security.
Requirements
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA).
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer/Analyst with a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform.
- Experience in IT service management (ITSM) and familiarity with ITIL processes.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, and Configuration Management.
- Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, and other web technologies.
- Experience with REST/SOAP web services and integrations.
- Experience in other ServiceNow products such as HR Service Delivery (HRSD), Service Portfolio Management (SPM), and Customer Service Management (CSM).
Responsibilities
- Develop and configure ServiceNow applications and modules.
- Design and implement advanced workflows, business rules, UI policies, scripts, and integrations.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and system testing to ensure the quality and functionality of developed solutions.
- Address defects and incidents to ensure high-quality standards and customer service excellence.
- Supports and follows the entries development lifecycle adhering to documented good practices.
- Supplement Business Analyst by gathering and analyzing requirements through collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Design and propose solutions that align with business objectives, and ServiceNow best practices, minimizing platform customizations.
Other
- Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical leadership and sharing best practices.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for team members and stakeholders.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
- Supplement the System Administrator with the day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform, including user and group management, security configurations, and system updates.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing, full-time basis for any employer without sponsorship.
