Lear Corporation is seeking a Shop Floor Application Developer to design, develop, and deploy scalable applications that bridge enterprise software with industrial devices and systems, integrating IT and OT systems.
Requirements
- Experience in full-stack .NET development
- Proficiency in C-Sharp, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, and front-end frameworks (React, Vue, or Blazor)
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP a plus)
- Experience with industrial protocols and OT systems (e.g., OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Atlassian Suite)
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using .NET (C-Sharp, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, etc.)
- Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Integrate cloud services (Azure, AWS, or GCP) for scalable and resilient solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to connect IT systems with OT devices (PLCs, sensors, SCADA, etc.)
- Develop APIs and microservices to support real-time data exchange between systems
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for streamlined development and deployment
- Ensure security, performance, and reliability across all layers of the application stack
