Nama is looking for an exceptional in-house mid-level Shopify Web Developer to establish roots on a direct-to-consumer eCommerce customer experience team. The developer will work directly with the Digital Director to implement new products, pages, posts, and more, aiming to enhance the company's online presence and customer experience.
Requirements
- Expert in designing, developing, testing, and deploying solutions based on the industry's best practices
- Experience working Shopify Plus themes and development
- Experience customizing the Shopify Plus checkout with checkout extensibility
- Expert in custom Shopify theme development
- Proficiency in working with HTML, CSS/SCSS, Liquid, AJAX, Node.js, JavaScript, and other Shopify related coding languages
- Expertise in JavaScript libraries
- Expert in JSON data
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot bugs or issues as they arise and develop a plan to resolve
- Evaluate and maintain 3rd party Shopify apps
- Implement and maintain content and assets across the Shopify store – including products, blogs, posts, pages, etc.
- Translate technical requirements and design mockups into best-in-class web experiences
- Maintain reusable code and documentation for future use, optimization, and scalability
- Maintain Git code repositories
- Develop Shopify pages, templates, sections, snippets, etc.

- 5+ years of experience required
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Bonus: experience with Shopify Markets and other international expansion tools
- Bonus: custom coded email template development
