The Business Analyst serves as the primary link between stakeholders, technical teams, and the PMO, ensuring requirements are accurately captured, analyzed, and delivered in alignment with SRNS operational goals and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Analyze existing processes, workflows, and systems to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop clear and concise business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and process maps.
- Validate solutions through user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure requirements traceability.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive informed decision-making.
- CBAP, CCBA, or equivalent certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business requirements.
- Analyze existing processes, workflows, and systems to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop clear and concise business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and process maps.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions to align stakeholders and clarify project scope.
- Support project managers in defining project deliverables, acceptance criteria, and success measures.
- Validate solutions through user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure requirements traceability.
- Ensure compliance with SRNS procedures, DOE/NNSA requirements, and PMO governance standards.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field plus at least five years of experience (YOE) in a relevant role, OR Master's degree in relevant field plus at least two years of experience (YOE), OR Doctoral degree in relevant field
- Equivalencies to experience and education requirements will be considered
- SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug & alcohol test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications.
- Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
