Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting; familiarity with Tcl or similar languages is a plus.
- Developing or supporting software in a Linux environment.
- Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and basic software testing practices.
- Basic understanding of semiconductor EDA tools or CAD data workflows.
- Familiarity with handling large datasets or semiconductor design files.
- Knowledge of lab automation or process optimization in a technical environment.
- Mandatory Skills: Semiconductor Platform Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software tools and infrastructure for SiFA workflows using Python, Bash, and other scripting languages.
- Support data processing and reporting for semiconductor data types (e.g., layout, schematic, netlist, LEF/DEF, GDS, JSON, CSV).
- Integrate software with EDA tools and proprietary CAD platforms using Python, Tcl, or Shell scripting.
- Implement error handling, logging, and basic testing for software tools.
- Automate and streamline lab processes through script development and tool integration.
- Document code and workflows for engineering users.
- Troubleshoot software issues and provide technical support to lab users.
