The Boeing Company is seeking a Software Engineer to support the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) business organization, specifically focusing on the Flight Deck Modeling & Sim Integration team. The role involves supporting the development and release of Integrated Aircraft Configurations and designing, implementing, and maintaining software tools for system designers to use in simulated environments.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience using Linux/Windows operating systems
- Knowledge/experience in Modeling and Simulation
- 1+ years of programming experience -preferably C/C++/Python, Java, Web technologies
- 1+ years of software development experience with application integration and system architecture, utilizing standard IT lifecycle methodologies and tools
- 2+ years of experience with Interface Control Document (XML, JSON)
- 1+ years of experience with Pytorch, SciKit Learn, Tensorflow, or similar backend frameworks
- Expertise with Kubernetes and Docker
Responsibilities
- Support development and release of IAC (Integrated Aircraft Configurations)
- Develop software applications that will be running at system engineers work stations, labs and possibly cloud environments.
- Develop and maintain various tools that supports Modeling and Simulation tasks
- Work with modeling & simulation engineers to define and develop advanced flight displays and applications in support of various projects and studies.
- Provide support for testing and demonstration sessions.
