Jabil is looking to solve the business problem of leading manufacturing quality activities and systems at their injection molding site in Gurnee, IL, by hiring a Site Quality Manager to drive continuous improvement and provide exceptional support to customers, team members, and shareholders.
Requirements
- Experience in building and maintaining quality management systems
- Previous experience in injection molding highly desired
- ISO certification, implementation, and auditing experience needed
- Regulatory knowledge needed in ISO 13485 and FDA compliance
- Knowledge of quality processes, systems, tools and techniques
- Understanding of manufacturing operations and quality control principles
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 13485, QS9000, ISO 14000)
Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management
- Assess the adequacy of data gathering methods utilized by the workcells
- Assure that procedures and work instructions are efficient and not redundant
- Offer new ideas and suggestions for improvement
- Understand and drive regulatory and compliance certifications as appropriate (i.e. regulatory requirements surrounding FDA compliance, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, QS9000, ISO 14000)
- Establish new measurement systems if/where possible
- Exchange knowledge and information with other Jabil facilities to ensure best practices are shared throughout the Jabil organization
