Hinge Health is looking to solve the problem of keeping their platform running reliably, securely, and efficiently by hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to build tooling and automation that empowers product teams to ship with confidence.
Requirements
- Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Terraform) and AWS or other cloud providers.
- Understanding of basic monitoring/alerting concepts.
- Experience with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, Ruby, TypeScript, or Go).
- Exposure to healthcare or regulated industries.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails or TypeScript-based applications is a plus.
- Awareness of compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC2, HIPAA) is helpful but not required.
- Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to automate provisioning and configuration of environments.
- Contribute to maintaining and improving containers, logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
- Participate in maintaining system security, compliance, and relevant documentation.
- Assist in automating and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in testing, disaster recovery exercises, and troubleshooting efforts.
- Help create and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and AWS.
- Support risk management initiatives by ensuring system reliability and availability.
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field
- 2+ years of relevant experience in SRE, DevOps, or systems administration
