Cox Automotive is looking to enhance the development and reliability of their service scheduling and Management System for the automotive industry by hiring a Site Reliability Engineer II.
Requirements
- Languages: Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, GO-lang.
- Cloud Platforms: AWS (primary).
- Tools: Jenkins, Git(GitHub flow), Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, CDN, New Relic, PagerDuty, Harness(Add-ons), Splunk.
- Frameworks: RESTful APIs, React.
- Monitoring & Observability.
- DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering experience
- Cloud Experience (AWS or Azure or GCP)
Responsibilities
- Ensure high availability and performance of applications through proactive monitoring, incident response, and root cause analysis.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning, and streamline deployment processes.
- Use tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to manage infrastructure reproducibly.
- Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks across systems and networks.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Work closely with development, QA, and product teams to align reliability goals with business objectives.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 2+ years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and up to 2 years’ experience; or 14 years’ experience in a related field.
- Hybrid - Ability to work remotely part of the week
