Requirements
- Designing, developing, and maintaining customer-facing business applications in the financial services industry using Java, Spring Boot, and Dot Net Core
- Scripting using Python and PowerShell
- Performance tuning enterprise applications using Java frameworks and JMeter
- Measuring and monitoring metrics using AppDynamics and Dynatrace
- Creating CI/CD pipelines for automated software builds and deployment using Microsoft TFS
- Developing enterprise-level applications using middleware technologies such as Kafka, TIBCO, and MuleSoft
- Performing data manipulation, data structuring, data design flow, and query optimization using Neo4j and MongoDB
Responsibilities
- Develop tools and visualizations to gain insights into the customer experience and product interactions
- Run, maintain, and improve technology solutions against established service level objectives by applying software engineering principles
- Develop solutions to automate manual development and operational tasks
- Ensure the availability, performance, change management, telemetry, and capacity management of technology solutions
- Collaborate with the engineering team throughout the software life cycle to build for reliability and to deploy to infrastructures across different regions
- Perform root cause analysis and participate in post-mortems to identify and eliminate gaps, as well as to improve security solutions
- Analyze usage and telemetry data to identify patterns to predict and prevent failure in technology applications and services
Other
- Master's degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience
- Ability to delegate and manage operational and SRE work with global team to ensure 'Follow the Sun' support coverage
- Ability to collaborate with the engineering team throughout the software life cycle
