Responsibilities
- Design and Architecture: Design, install, configure, and maintain secure and scalable database systems (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL) in on-premises and cloud environments.
- Availability: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot high availability/disaster recovery solutions such as failover-cluster instances and availability groups.
- Performance: The administrator should have experience in DBMS performance optimization and be able to identify and resolve performance issues.
- Security: The administrator should have a deep understanding of DBMS security and be able to implement and maintain administrative and technical controls.

- Min 12 years with HS degree, 10 years with AS/AA degree, 8 years with BS/BA, 6 years with MS/MA, 3 years with a PHD
- DoD TS/SCI clearance
- Collaboration: The administrator should be able to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other administrators, engineers, and stakeholders across multiple time zones.
- Effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions to meet the needs of the organization in the cloud and on-premises environments.
