Peraton requires an Asset Manager - Software License and Subscription Analyst to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, optimizing software usage, and mitigating risks for USSOCOM's IT Enterprise.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software asset management, including tracking, auditing, and compliance.
- Proficiency in managing enterprise-wide software license agreements, maintenance plans, and vendor relationships.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting software usage trends and mitigating software-related risks.
- Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks such as ITIL.
- DoD 8570 IAT II Certification
- Strong understanding of warranty and maintenance coverage for software assets.
- Ability to recommend and implement process improvements to optimize software management.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage multiple data repositories and or mid-range application servers for tracking software licensing metadata and support agreements.
- Track licenses, maintenance plans, renewal information, and media for software.
- Identify and report license compliance issues.
- Coordinates with software systems engineering or applications developers as necessary to correct errors.
- Perform periodic audits to reconcile licenses utilized with authorized licenses.
- Conduct periodic license reviews 120 days prior to the expiration of software license and maintenance agreements.
- Maintain warranty and maintenance coverage for software, including contractor-purchased and Government-purchased items.

- Min 6 years with HS degree, 4 years with AS/AA degree, 2 years with BS/BA
- DoD TS/SCI clearance
- Experience with USSOCOM's IT systems and operational environments.
- Knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) software licensing policies and procedures.
- Advanced reporting and communication skills to provide visibility into asset management effectiveness.
