RTX is looking to solve the problem of assessing conformance with engineering specifications in the aerospace and defense business through the SkillBridge Fellowship opportunities for transitioning service members.
Requirements
- Strong math skills
- Ability to use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electronic units
- Ability to read and interpret technical data such as component maintenance manuals, engineering prints, and schematics
- Ability to utilize limited variety of microelectronic, electronic, optical, electro-optical, mechanical, or electromechanical equipment, including computers and lasers
- Ability to perform entry level troubleshooting, calibration or modification of hardware, fixtures, and software
- Ability to apply technical expertise in the evaluation, development, maintenance and use of products, devices, tests, or procedures under constantly changing conditions
- Ability to utilize multiple databases to create/use necessary information to provide information for decision making requiring limited judgment
Responsibilities
- Interacts with other functional groups (e.g. engineering, manufacturing) on routine technical matters
- Setting up and operating various test stands
- Configuring test equipment for special tests as needed
- Interpreting and recording test results
- Recognizing and isolating test equipment failures
- Taking electrical measurements to determine select resistors using strong math skills
- Using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electronic units to the sub-assembly and component level

- Ability to work 2nd Shift: 2 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday
