Steampunk is looking to solve the problem of delivering features to support internal operations and ensuring reliability and delivery of internal automation and integrations on Microsoft Azure.
Requirements
- Experience with one or more clouds (Azure strongly preferred; AWS, or GCP)
- Experience with Git SCM providers such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket
- Experience with one or more programming or scripting languages (Powershell, Python, C-Sharp, etc.)
- Experience integrating with REST APIs and handling JSON; basic understanding of webhooks and Graph API concepts.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Entra ID (Azure AD) (users, groups, app registrations, service principals)
- Experience automating processes with PowerShell and/or Azure Functions (C-Sharp)
Responsibilities
- Monitor automation and application health; investigate alerts; perform root-cause analysis; implement corrective actions to restore service and prevent recurrence.
- Design, implement, test, and maintain IT process automations and tools using Logic Apps, PowerShell, Azure Functions (C-Sharp), etc.
- Configure and support SaaS platform integrations with Azure/Entra ID, including authentication, SCIM provisioning, and API-driven data exchange.
- Collect and refine requirements with stakeholders; break work into tickets; deliver increments aligned to sprint goals.
- Participate in stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives; provide accurate status and estimates.
Other
- BS Degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science)
- Strong written communication and attention to detail.
- 1-2 years software development experience.
