NASK is looking for a Python Software Developer to join their SkillBridge Internship Program for transitioning military personnel. The role involves developing new tools and improving existing ones for the Intelligence and Defense communities, focusing on digital signal processing and related technologies.
Requirements

- Development of systems for the Intelligence and Defense communities
- Python work experience
- Experience with Python data science libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, and Scipy
- C/C++
- Knowledge of multi-threaded signal processing algorithms in Python/C++ on Linux hosts
Responsibilities
- develop new tools and improve existing ones
- rapid prototyping
- develop, modify and improve a suite of signal processing tools
- implement real-time signal processing algorithms on Linux-based SDR platforms
- supporting customer needs and requirements
- analyzing and troubleshooting system performance
- Ability to analyze and improve the performance of existing algorithms using various methods (refactoring optimization, multi-threading, use of performance analysis tools)

- MUST be transitioning US Military personnel with your COMMAND'S approval for this program.
- In lieu of a degree, relevant work experience
- Ability to quickly learn new software and technical subjects
