Cherokee Analytics is seeking a Small Robotics Operational Integrator to support our Government client with designing, constructing, and employing small robots and unmanned aerial, ground, and subsurface vehicles.
Requirements
- Experience in the design, construction, and employment of aerial, ground, and subsurface vehicles
- Experience developing and delivering in person and remote group sUAS assembler and pilot training courses
- Ability to incorporate autonomous pilot hardware as well as full manual control into builds
- Understanding of Irregular Warfare operational art and design
- Experience working with unmanned aerial systems
- Experience with subsurface vehicles
Responsibilities
- Design groups of 1-3 unmanned aerial, ground, and subsurface vehicles in support of current/future operations.
- Construct small robots and unmanned aerial, ground, and subsurface vehicles.
- Employ small robots and unmanned aerial, ground, and subsurface vehicles during operational testing.
- Analyze and assess current and future foreign, lethal and non-lethal, weaponized systems including, but not limited to, system capabilities, vulnerabilities, production, stockpile, deployment, proliferation, and impact to forces on the battlefield.
- Support defense analytical requirements with enhanced scientific/engineering research, capability/limitation analysis, reverse engineering characterizations and vulnerability assessments on foreign small robotic systems such as unmanned aerial ground vehicles.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Other
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with Counterintelligence polygraph
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in SOF units/SMUs
- Ability to provide advice and recommendations on the integration of small robotics into SOF operations
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
- US Citizenship required
