MUFG is looking to maintain and enhance its data warehouse, which stores critical trade data used for regulatory reporting, financial reporting, risk management, and operational trade support. The goal is to ensure data integrity, optimize performance, and support business intelligence initiatives.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Snowflake data warehousing.
- 3+ years of experience with Python programming, including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and SQLAlchemy.
- Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data; Oracle or SQL Server development skills desired.
- Experience in ETL processes, data pipeline development, and data warehousing design using Kimball Methodologies.
- CI/CD experience using GitHub and Git Actions, Team City, or SDA.
- Understanding of Veracode scans and data security best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Snowflake and Python.
- Ensure data quality and integrity within the trade data warehouse.
- Optimize Snowflake queries and data models for performance and scalability.
- Automate data processing tasks and generate reports using Python scripts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues impacting regulatory and financial reporting.
- Participate in data governance and security initiatives.

- The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day.
