Xanterra Travel Collection is seeking a Snowflake Integration Developer to design and implement scalable data integration pipelines, optimize data flows, and ensure secure data access across the organization.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working with Snowflake in a data engineering or integration role.
- Strong knowledge/experience with on-premises and cloud database systems, including Snowflake, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse, Fabric, Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle (19 and forward).
- Advanced SQL development and query optimization skills.
- Hands-on experience with data integration/ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Fivetran, dbt, Talend).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of data warehousing best practices and modern data architecture (e.g., ELT, Data Lakehouse).
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing scalable data integration pipelines using Snowflake.
- Implementing secure and cost-effective strategies to integrate data across enterprise-scale technology platforms.
- Developing ETL/ELT processes to ingest structured and unstructured data from diverse sources (e.g., APIs, databases, data lakes).
- Automating data ingestion and transformation processes using SQL, Python, and scripting tools.
- Ensuring data quality, consistency, and security throughout the integration lifecycle.
- Documenting integration processes, data flows, and technical specifications.
- Optimizing performance and cost of Snowflake workloads (warehouse sizing, clustering, query tuning).

- Per our company policy, we will require this position to be in office 5 days a week.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize and present information clearly.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products for authoring and collaboration is required.
- Snowflake certification(s) (e.g., SnowPro Core or Advanced).
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including planning, organizing and adaptability.
