Shelley Whitman Associates (SW) is looking for interns to learn professional social-media practice within a creative agency environment, bridging the gap between academic study and professional creative work.
Requirements
- Applicants must have completed a college degree (or equivalent) in a field such as Marketing, Advertising, Media Studies, Communications, Public Relations, English/Creative Writing, Film, Graphic Design, Art, or Information Design.
- Current university students may apply only if they are in their final (senior) year and if the internship can be taken as part of an approved, university-affiliated academic internship program.
- Applicants may be based anywhere in North America with reliable internet access.
Responsibilities
- Participate in live campaign development under the direct oversight of senior staff
- Maintain a brief learning log and portfolio of mentor-approved work
- Campaign Planning & Audience Strategy
- Caption & Micro-Copy Writing for Multiple Platforms
- Short-Form Video / Storyboarding Basics
- Accessibility & Inclusive Design (ADA / FTC / IP Principles)
- Analytics & Performance Reflection
