The Boeing Company is seeking a Software Agile Project Manager to support the E-7 program, focusing on ensuring the effective execution of the program by coordinating multiple teams and facilitating communication across various stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in program management or project coordination within a large-scale software development environment.
- Proven experience in a Release Train Engineer or similar role, with a focus on program execution and leadership.
- Experience with defense contracts.
- Experience with Earned Value Management.
- SAFe Release Train Engineer certification or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate software program execution activities, including planning sessions, progress reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Managers, Scrum Masters, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of program milestones.
- Lead efforts to identify and address challenges that may impact program execution, providing guidance and support to teams.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the teams, promoting best practices and innovative solutions.
- Track and report on key performance metrics to stakeholders and leadership, ensuring transparency in program progress.
- Mentor and coach Scrum Masters, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance team capabilities.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of program objectives, ensuring that all teams are aligned and working towards common goals.
Other
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
- An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
