Hitachi Rail is looking for a Software Analyst Intern to join their Engineering Environment team to provide development, analysis, automation, and testing support for their infrastructure, ultimately supporting Thales Ground Transportation Systems.
Requirements
- Knowledge in Web Development.
- Scripting (Python, Groovy, PowerShell, etc.), automation
- Experience with Virtualization (VMware, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
- Experience with JIRA
- Experience with GIT/ BitBucket
- Experience with Artifactory
- Experience with Jenkins / Continuous Integration
Responsibilities
- Develop supporting scripts that will enhance current engineering infrastructure and tools
- Prepare dashboard/metrics that will be used for global business line reporting
- Responsible for customer facing support (Service Desk), based on customers technical issues and requests
- Participate in front end development for our current transformation activities
- Collaborates in wiki community management
Other
- The successful candidate should be working towards a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Computer/Systems Engineering degree or equivalent
- Fluent in English both in written and oral communication skills
- Able to work full time hours (40 hours) with the start date and the agreed work term
- Positive 'can do' attitude - Customer delivery focused
