Intel's Foundry Automation (IFA) team is looking for a Software Application Development Engineer to partner with end users in Fab Manufacturing and Engineering to deliver innovative solutions for highly automated factories, integrating these solutions by working closely with Software Development teams and executing testing, implementation, troubleshooting, and documentation of business processes.
Requirements
- 2+ years' experience with PL/SQL development.
- 2+ years' experience with RDBMS schema design development.
- Oracle Certification (OCA, OCP, or OCM).
- Experience with RDBMS Systems (Oracle, MS-SQL, Postgres etc.).
- C Programming Language.
- Agile Programming and DevOps Practices.
- Experience with Software/Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Responsibilities
- Gathering requirements.
- Analyzing existing processes and procedures.
- Prioritizing configuration changes in manufacturing execution systems and managing projects that support development and continuous improvement.
- Collaboration and engagement with internal customers/partners to identify emerging data/business needs and trends.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to mitigate and solve technical and manufacturing challenges.
- Execute implementation and testing of application/database software releases.
- Co-develop tools/business processes that support efficiency.

- Provide L3 end user support by participating in 24x7 on-call rotation.
