Intel's Foundry Automation group is seeking an experienced Software Application Development Engineer to help create a better future for the entire world by pushing forward fields like AI, analytics, and cloud-to-edge technology.
Requirements
- 4+ years programming experience in any and/or all of the following: C using .NET Framework and WPF, C++, VB
- Strong knowledge of design principles, user experience, and usability best practices
- Proven expertise in C and WPF
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Information Security protocols.
- Expertise with User Interface development.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and debug software applications used by Manufacturing end users or integrated with other applications.
- Use modern software development methodologies and programming languages, follow secure coding practices and software legal compliance guidelines, analyze user stories, write functional and test code, automate build and deployment, and perform unit integration and end-to-end testing of applications.
- Work with end users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related STEM field.
