Intel's Foundry Automation group is seeking an experienced Software Application Development Engineer to bridge the gap between applications and systems, creating seamless and efficient software solutions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in technical stacks such as REST/gRPC APIs, C/Java Development, Python, SQL and shell scripting, and Kubernetes administration
  • Experience with VB Script, DCOM, MSMQ, WCF, web services, and general integration challenges and solutions
  • Experience working with Microsoft solutions
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes deployments, GitHub CI/CD, Helm charts, Canary Testing
  • Experience with Authentication/Authorization technologies such as OAuth
  • Familiarity with Apache Kafka, imConnectRR, imConnectPS on imcloud
  • Experience with modern architectural frameworks

Responsibilities

  • Engineering solutions on middleware stack solutions like Apache Kafka, imConnectRR, imConnectPS on imcloud
  • Leveraging open-source packages
  • Working with modern architectural frameworks
  • Managing stateless/stateful workloads, PVC, Config-Maps, Secrets, Security, Network resources
  • Kubernetes deployments, GitHub CI/CD, Helm charts, Canary Testing
  • Implementing Authentication/Authorization technologies such as OAuth
  • Developing solutions using REST/gRPC APIs, C/Java Development, Python, SQL and shell scripting

Other

  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain US Government TS Security Clearance and SCI access
  • Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or similar STEM field with 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Active US Government TS/SCI Security Clearance (preferred)
  • Master's degree in computer science or similar STEM field with 2+ years of relevant experience (preferred)
