Design and develop CNC application software for metal cutting machine tool products at Fives
Requirements
Proficiency in the development of C/C++, C-Sharp and web-based applications
Proficiency in Qt development a plus
Ability to interpret hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics a plus
Ability to develop and troubleshoot PLC software a plus
HMI interface development a plus
Intermediate Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word
Responsibilities
Design, development, testing, and maintenance of CNC application software
Develop PC application development/maintenance (i.e., user interface, OEE, etc.)
Develop Machine tool PLC application development
Produce and review end-user operator documentation
Troubleshoot software issues when required in support of product startup and field installation support
Focus on continuously improving and optimizing system performance, increasing control system functionality and capability

Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university – Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related engineering degree
