ProSidian is seeking a Software Applications Developer to drive the technological facet of a pioneering initiative centered around comprehending drivers' attitudes and behaviors related to alcohol and non-alcohol drug use for the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT)
Requirements
- Demonstrated mastery of programming languages and software development methodologies, including commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software
- Proven experience in creating user-friendly applications and systems, with an emphasis on surveys
- Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to troubleshoot technical challenges
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)
- Experience with relational database software (e.g., SQL Server)
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design, and construct computer applications and systems tailored to the project's requirements, encompassing dynamic surveys
- Demonstrate proficiency in modern software technologies and relational database software (e.g., SQL Server) to develop intuitive, visually appealing applications
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure seamless integration and functionality of software systems
- Thoroughly test and debug software applications to identify and address any potential issues
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of the project's digital components, ensuring optimal performance and user experience
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant field
- A minimum of 2-3 years' hands-on experience in software development, particularly in creating visually appealing and intuitive applications
