Teradyne is looking to solve the problem of developing test programs, executing test suites, and developing fixturing and documentation for their software applications. They also need to perform software Q/A functions on complex assemblies and identify corrective actions, utilizing both instrumentation and software for various test instruments.
Requirements
- programming skills in C, C++ and/or C-Sharp
- Experience debugging hardware circuitry using benchtop lab equipment is a requirement
- Have experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs
Responsibilities
- develop test programs
- execute test suites
- develop fixturing and documentation
- performing software Q/A functions on complex assemblies
- identifying the corrective action
- working with both instrumentation and software for digital, bus, optical, and analog test instruments
- use (and gain) both hardware and software skills
Other
- Be working towards a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer System Engineering
- Have completed at least sophomore year
- Be enthusiastic and eager to learn
- Have good communication skills and the ability to work with cross functional engineering teams
- Relevant course work and or prior co-op / intern experience preferred
