Parsons is seeking an experienced and innovative Software Architect to lead the architecture and design of cloud-based capabilities that support large-scale data processing, analytics, and data visualizations for cyber battlespace awareness in secure Department of Defense (DoD) mission systems. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the security and effectiveness of DoD operations by leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance cyber situational awareness and decision-making.
Requirements
- Minimum of ten years of experience in software architecture and design, with a strong background in cloud technologies, data analytics, and secure system development.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Cloud Services, large data processing and microservices architecture.
- Active TS/SCI w/Poly
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a scalable and robust architecture capable of handling the ingestion, processing, and analysis of vast amounts of data from diverse sources.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data scientists, and cybersecurity experts, to ensure that the architecture meets all functional, performance, and security requirements.
- Translate high-level requirements into detailed technical designs.

- Strong leadership and collaboration abilities are essential, as the Software Architect will play a critical role in guiding the development team and ensuring the successful delivery of mission-critical capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience with NC3 mission systems is a plus but not required
- An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.
