Wind River is looking to solve complex technology challenges in the new intelligent machine economy by enabling mission-critical, distributed cloud infrastructure for 5G and intelligent edge applications. The Wind River Conductor product aims to provide an orchestration and automation backbone for deploying, managing, and optimizing applications and infrastructure across thousands of geographically dispersed sites, ensuring zero-touch operations and blueprint-based automation for carrier-grade and edge-aware environments.
Requirements
- Cloud-native architecture: Kubernetes, container orchestration, multi-cloud environments (Private Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Automation & orchestration frameworks: Cloudify, ArgoCD, Terraform, TOSCA models, ONAP.
- Scalable distributed systems: Designing for high availability, security, and operational automation at global scale.
- Expertise in large-scale distributed system design, including federation, fault isolation, and asynchronous orchestration.
- Understanding of zero-touch provisioning architectures, including secure bootstrap mechanisms, device attestation, and policy-driven deployment pipelines.
- Proven track record in designing for immutable infrastructure, declarative configuration management, and event-driven automation to achieve predictable and repeatable outcomes at scale.
- Service modeling & APIs: REST API design, data modeling, and integration strategies.
