The position requires ensuring compliance with procedures to populate, source, and accurately manage license information within the software asset tracking system (SNOW).
Requirements
- Experience in using Software Asset Management software (Snow, Flexera, ServiceNow)
- Knowledge of performance metrics and reporting, technical problem resolution, and risk management
- Strong PC skills (Microsoft 365 Suite)
- Experience gathering and analyzing data to effect meaningful change in areas that need improvement
Responsibilities
- Assist with executing processes and procedures to populate, source, and accurately manage license information within the software asset tracking system (SNOW).
- Take ownership of tasks such as renewal communication based on license expiration dates, gathering incomplete license information, monitoring license compliance, and tracking purchase and savings history.
- Monitor user access rights to ensure data integrity
- Recognize and respond to business reporting needs
- Assist in supporting software license entitlement audits
- Ability to analyze and draw meaningful conclusions and forecasts from large sets of data
- Identify under-utilized software licenses for potential cost savings opportunity

- This is a non-supervisory position reporting to the Manager of IT Finance and IT Procurement.
- This position involves interfacing with all levels of management; good written and verbal communication skills are required.
- This is a full time on-site position located in Groton, CT.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
- Ability to build relationships across all departments and levels within organization
