Lead the software automation commissioning activities for site projects within the Commissioning & Site North America organization, ensuring successful software commissioning from power-on through full automatic production.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Technology or Engineering required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with PLC controls in Industrial Automation solutions, in Automotive, Process or Logistics Industries
- Experience in PLC, network configurations, commissioning drivers, HMI debug and commissioning
- Significant customer site experience working closely with Site Team
- Bachelor’s in Technology or Engineering degree preferred
- Experience in PLC software commissioning in Body Assembly (BIW), Powertrain Assembly, Electrification or Fulfilment / Logistics Industrial Automation solutions
- Previous experience leading software / automation engineers in commissioning
Responsibilities
- Lead the software automation commissioning activities for a site project.
- Lead Software / Automation Engineers in commissioning activities at the customer site.
- Perform PLC software debug.
- Handle HMI and special applications commissioning.
- Responsible for software commissioning from power-on of the lines through all the customer's milestones until full automatic production.
- Configure networks and commission drivers.
- Debug and commission HMI.
