Raytheon is looking to solve the problem of managing and delivering software and infrastructure baselines, field bulletins, and SVDs for SPY-6 FoR radar systems, requiring expertise in various development and release management tools and processes.
Requirements
- Experience in Jira and related agile project management tools.
- Experience In configuration management tools and practices.
- Experience with LBTS environments, system testing, and field deployment processes.
- Experience with ClearCase.
- Experience with Git.
- Experience with radar systems or other mission-critical software applications.
- Knowledge of DoD software development lifecycle and documentation standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development, integration, and maintenance of SPY-6 software baselines for radar systems.
- Ensure proper configuration control, versioning, and release tracking of software baselines.
- Manage and maintain Jira workflows for tracking software development, defect resolution, and feature requests.
- Administer and manage ClearCase and Git repositories to maintain proper version control and branching strategies.
- Develop and enforce best practices for source code management, including branching, merging, and tagging workflows.
- Migrate and integrate legacy ClearCase repositories to Git, as required.
- Coordinate the release of software baselines to LBTS for testing and validation.
Other
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- DoD Clearance: Secret
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
