Prolifics is seeking a Software Business Development Executive to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities focused on IBM software solutions, aiming to generate new logos and expand software adoption within existing accounts.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software sales or business development, ideally in the enterprise technology space.
- Familiarity with IBM programs, technologies, and partner ecosystem preferred.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office tools.
- Solid understanding of enterprise software and digital transformation trends.
Responsibilities
- Drive new IBM software business across target accounts.
- Expand software opportunities within current clients not actively managed by other team members.
- Identify potential clients via outbound strategies, events, referrals, and networking, especially within the IBM ecosystem.
- Qualify and engage leads through phone, email, and social media outreach.
- Understand client challenges and present solutions aligned with Prolifics’ offerings.
- Schedule meetings, presentations, and software demos in collaboration with technical teams.
- Keep accurate and timely records of all client interactions in the CRM system.
