Qorvo is seeking to solve technical challenges in its Connectivity and Sensors business groups by leveraging software characterization engineering interns to develop and implement automated RF test solutions, streamline software processes, and improve system efficiency.
Requirements
- Competence using C-Sharp, Python, or C++
- Excellent debugging and problem solving skills
- Familiarity/understanding of development environments, multi-threading paradigms, shell scripting, algorithms or databases
- Experience with AI/ML, preferably via API or other integration
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing automated RF test solutions to support the characterization and compliance testing of power amplifiers, switches, and other devices
- Designing, developing, and implementing cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment for all phases of product development
- Streamlining application and software processes, developing and maintaining software for various projects
- Benchmarking various software to maximize efficiency and develop improvements
- Driving API development to support data structures, data access, data integration, data visualization, database design and implementation
- Documenting, reporting, and following the team's design practices
- Providing comprehensive support to internal customers and achieving resolution to outstanding problems or issues
Other
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
