The University's Information Services (IS) needs to ensure that all technology-related purchases and contracts align with university policies and standards, requiring a dedicated role to review and manage these agreements.

Responsibilities
- Review all technology related contracts for compliance with laws, regulations, and University requirements, and provide recommendations for contract negotiations in conjunction with the Procurement Office.
- Assist the University’s Procurement office with the drafting, evaluation, negotiation, and execution of Information Services (IS) contracts.
- Serve as a first point of contact for IS customers on contractual matters and provide guidance on contract matters to project managers or other operational staff.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with outside vendors, University leadership and internal customers throughout the contract negotiations.
- Analyze information and apply judgment in order to solve problems of both a routine and complex nature.
- Ensure thorough documentation throughout the entirety of a contract review of all edits, meetings, and final approvals with Procurement and Information Services systems.
Other
- A bachelor's degree in Business or related discipline is required.
- Must be able to work with outside vendors and internal customers in a professional manner.
- Contract management experience a NCMA certification are preferred.
- Effective communication both verbally and in writing.
- Regularly required to lift 10 or fewer pounds.
