Requirements
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills
- Experience with basic computer applications, databases, operating systems, and hardware
- Experience with SCM tools such as Git, GitLab, Jira, BitBucket, ClearCase and ClearQuest
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
- Active Secret clearance
- Two or more years related experience
Responsibilities
- Perform Software Configuration Management (SCM) tasks including the fundamentals of Configuration Management: identification, change management, status accounting, audit and verification
- Manage software repositories using designated SCM tools (Git, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jira) for software version and baseline control
- Perform and document required software builds as directed to ensure reproducible software configuration baselines and deliveries
- Execute release and change control functions using SCM tools to ensure software product integrity
- Assist in generating and maintaining all necessary program software development, release and change records, including status accounting records
- Perform SCM Configuration Control Board activities including establishing the agenda, recording approvals/non-approvals, and publishing and maintaining action items lists
- Develop proficiency in the use of the assigned SCM tools, and knowledge of company software configuration management processes and standards
Other
- US citizen eligible for a DoD security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Full-time on-site work at a BAE Systems facility
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Must be able to obtain a security clearance
