Munich Airport NJ LLC is looking to solve the problem of developing detailed Facilities Maintenance Power BI dashboards and creating Maximo, Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) processes at Newark Liberty International Airport’s Terminal One

Requirements

  • Have an intermediate to advanced grasp of Operating Systems, Data structures, algorithms and at least one modern programming language such as Python, JavaScript, etc
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying databases such as Microsoft SQL Server with database design principles
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI for creating insightful dashboards
  • Strong programming skills in Python for statistical analysis and automation tasks

Responsibilities

  • Under supervision, assist in the development of Power BI Dashboards for the Facilities department reporting data from Maximo and the airport systems HMI software
  • Develop and optimize shared semantic models in Power BI using snowflake schema design
  • Develop SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from our Maximo database for use in Power BI
  • Design interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to present key facilities department metrics

Other

  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year college or university pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation between December 2027 – July 2028
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in any of the following areas: Computer Science, Information technology, engineering, data science, advanced analytics, clinical informatics, or similar program with a total GPA of 3.2 or higher
  • Legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time, permanent, and ongoing basis without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
  • Consistent, detail-oriented, and excellent organizational skills
  • A demonstrated ability to learn and employ the basics of research, design, and application within his or her discipline
