Ursa Major is looking to grow its internal software capabilities to accelerate the design, build, and testing of rocket engines, and is seeking a Software and Data Engineer to generate new business intelligence applications within Palantir's Foundry platform to achieve this.
Requirements
- 1-5 years of Professional Software Development experience
- 1+ years of Data Engineering experience
- Hands-on Experience with Palantir Foundry
- Experience working with manufacturing, industrial systems, or IoT data
Responsibilities
- Design and document data logic, lineage, and tooling for discoverability and maintainability
- Identify opportunities for system optimization and automation
- Design, develop, and deploy data pipelines and workflows within Palantir Foundry
- Develop Ontology objects to manage and reason over data within Palantir Foundry
- Configure and maintain data integrations from various source systems into Foundry
- Contribute to the development of training materials and documentation for Foundry users
- Work collaboratively within agile-inspired development methodologies.
