Ursa Major is looking to revolutionize how America and its allies access and apply high-performance propulsion, from hypersonics to solid rocket motors, satellite maneuvering and launch, by designing and delivering propulsion and defense systems that solve the most urgent and critical national security demands, and the company needs a Software & Data Engineer to generate new business intelligence applications inside Palantir’s Foundry platform to accelerate the design, build, and test of rocket engines.
Requirements
- Hands-on, professional experience with Palantir Foundry
- 1+ years of data engineering experience
- Experience working with manufacturing, industrial systems, or IoT data
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Product Owner and other Software & Data Engineers on our internal Palantir Foundry development team, as well as stakeholders and users to design intuitive interfaces and dashboards.
- Design, develop, and deploy data pipelines and workflows within Palantir Foundry.
- Develop Ontology objects to manage and reason over data within Palantir Foundry.
- Design and document data logic, lineage, and tooling for discoverability and maintainability.
- Configure and maintain data integrations from various source systems into Foundry.
- Identify and execute on opportunities for system optimization and automation.
- Contribute to the development of training materials and documentation for Foundry users.
