The Markey Cancer Center is seeking a Software/Data Professional I to contribute to the development, expansion, and continued maintenance of cancer research software applications such as the Cancer In Focus software framework.
Requirements
- Computer Science, Biomedical Informatics, or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- implementing APIs
- backend components
- user-centered, secure coding practices
- providing technical support for a critical research software system
- Ability to develop, maintain, update, and support a complex software system alongside a software development team
- Ability to produce technical documentation of complex legacy software and new software architectures
- Ability to track and communicate status of complex, multi-faceted software projects
