Auria is looking to hire a Software Database Engineer to support the development, maintenance, and deployment of the Wideband SATCOM Trend Analysis & Anomaly Resolution Subsystem (WSTARS) for the Department of Defense (DOD) Satellite Communication (SATCOM) Enterprise.

Requirements

  • Experience with design and implementation of data warehousing technologies including relational and nonrelational databases, SQL, and data analytics.
  • Experience supporting PostgreSQL database management systems running on Windows or Linux.
  • Experience in full lifecycle project development.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python for crafting efficient automation scripts and executing database operations.
  • Experience working on Agile Teams and SAFe methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing automation solutions using Ansible to support distribution and operational processes
  • Experience working with DevOps Processes and Cloud Infrastructure

Responsibilities

  • Develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems.
  • Apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
  • Diagnose problems encountered during application integration among products and address fixes/enhancements according to prescribed program processes.
  • Design and develop complex software using a variety of programming and scripting languages.
  • Experience with design and implementation of data warehousing technologies including relational and nonrelational databases, SQL, and data analytics.
  • Experience supporting PostgreSQL database management systems running on Windows or Linux.
  • Experience documenting design, processes, and procedures.

Other

  • Active U.S. Government SECRET security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required) with ability to obtain TS
  • Must be a team player, able to work comfortably and effectively with company team members as well as program stakeholders and DoD contractor personnel using strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skill
  • Ability to obtain Security+ or other DoD Level 2 Security Certification within 6 months.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% in support of customer interface, technical interchange meetings, on-site technical support, and event/exercise support.
  • Active US DoD Top Secret Clearance
