CACI is looking for a Software Database Developer to support the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Land Border Integration (LBI) Integrated Traveler Initiative ITI2.1 team. This role is crucial for maintaining the infrastructure that helps CBP secure borders across all travel entry and exit modalities (air, land, and sea). The position involves supporting border security efforts, potentially including biometric technologies, data analytics, and IoT, by developing and maintaining database management systems applications.
Requirements
- Strong coding skills in C, .NET, Angular, Java, Python, etc.
- Coding in .C, NET, Angular, Java, Python, Ruby, etc.
- Utilizing SQL Server
- Front or back end developer
- CSS3, Less, HTML, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Integration with hardware devices and vendor SDKs
- Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or above
Responsibilities
- Research, design, and implement development solutions.
- Gather and organize user requirements, forming a detailed backlog.
- Develop, test, and deploy analytic applications, incorporating user feedback.
- Perform data analysis and database design/development.
- Ensure database security, integrity, and performance.
- Support software release activities and Agile development practices.
- Collaborate with a diverse, geographically separated team.
Other
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation, criteria includes, but not limited to: 3-year check for felony convictions, 1-year check for illegal drug use, 1-year check for misconduct such as theft or fraud.
- Applicable combination of education and experience: + Software Database Developer T3 - College degree (B.S.) in relevant area of study and five (5) years or more experience in incremental software development projects + Senior Software Database Developer T4 - College degree (B.S.) in relevant area of study and seven (7) years or more experience in incremental software development projects
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to be adaptable and to work constructively with a technically diverse and geographically separated team is crucial.
