Requirements
- coursework in embedded systems or software-defined architectures
- Familiarity with C++, Python, CLI, scripting or other embedded programming languages and Linux operating system
- Understanding of automotive software concepts such as CAN, AUTOSAR, or vehicle connectivity is preferred
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the design and development of software modules for vehicle control, connectivity, and automation
- Testing embedded applications across electronic control units (ECUs), networks, and vehicle systems
- Integrating software, hardware, and cloud-based platforms and using simulation environments and testing frameworks to validate SDV features and functions
- Supporting over-the-air (OTA) update testing and vehicle software lifecycle management
- Participating and documenting system architectures design, test procedures etc.
Other
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Genuine interest in SDV technologies, intelligent vehicles, and digital platforms
- Willingness to travel or relocate to Oshkosh, WI for the summer internship
- Housing provided for interns living more than 50 miles from the work location
