Crossing Hurdles is looking for a Software Engineer to help their partners working with the world's leading AI research labs to build and train cutting-edge AI models.
Requirements
- Strong professional or open-source experience in Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Proven ability to develop and write unit tests in at least one of the above languages
- Familiarity with Docker and with navigating complex open-source projects
Responsibilities
- Write, organize, and review comprehensive unit test suites for complex code repositories, focusing on Python, Java, and/or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Contribute expertise to code quality, bug identification, and robust test coverage in open-source and production-level environments
- Maintain code integrity and use tools such as Docker for testing and development environments
- Provide clear, actionable feedback on testing strategy and code review processes

- Collaborate asynchronously with prominent AI researchers from leading labs
- Consistently deliver high-quality work to enhance eligibility for future Mercor projects
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and written communication skills
