Oracle America, Inc. is looking for a software engineer to design, develop, troubleshoot, and test software applications and operating systems according to provided design specifications, and to build enhancements within existing software architecture or suggest improvements.
Requirements
- Java
- Linux and Unix Shell Scripting
- Database frameworks including Oracle
- RESTFUL APIs and Web Services
- Object Oriented Design
- Build/Deployment tools such as Maven, Gradle, Git, Junit, Mockito, or Swagger UI
- Container technology including Docker
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software.
- Apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications.
- Build enhancements within an existing software architecture.
- Suggest improvements to the architecture.
- May telecommute.
Other
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 6 months of experience in the job offered or in a software developer-related occupation.
