Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure team is building second-generation Infrastructure-as-a-Service technologies that operate in a broadly-distributed, multi-tenant cloud environment. The role involves designing, implementing, and operating components of Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure, focusing on massively scalable, highly available virtual networking services.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with C or C++
- Working knowledge of Go, Python or other scripting language
- Understanding of data structures and algorithms and ability to optimize those to support high scale architectures
- Working familiarity with network virtualization, network protocols and distributed systems
- Strong understanding of IaaS/SaaS concepts and best practices
- Excellent troubleshooting, debugging and performance tuning skills
- Proficiency with networking concepts and protocols including TCP/IP, BGP and MPLS
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
- Take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures.
- Responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
- Design, implement and operate components of Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure.
- Build cloud-scale infrastructure from first principles.
- Build massively scalable, highly available virtual networking services that connect customer resources in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to internal and external networks and services.
