Requirements
- experience and capabilities in full stack software development, software validation, debugging and documentation in a DevOps approach using modern tools and languages.
- Familiarity with microservice architectures, REST API interfaces and tiered architectures.
- Exposure to full-stack development.
- Familiarity with the concepts of availability, observability, scalability, testability, recoverability.
- Training and experience in software implementation, code and design review, failure root cause analysis.
- Domain knowledge and experience with workflows and pipelines for media production: digital asset management and namespaces, familiarity with 3d frameworks, universal scene description, scene graphs, layers and models, 3d data packaging, rendering workflows, image composition, tools used in the workflow by artists, engineers, editors and content creators is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Cloud service design for availability, scalability, observability and testability.
- Implementation, validation and documentation of services and their component microservices.
- Collaboration within the engineering team to deliver and operate cloud services that enable animation, film and game development studios to run their production workflows in the cloud.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry best practices, ensuring compliance and driving innovation within the organization.
- Launching new cloud services and establishing operational excellence in a DevOps model.
- Work collaboratively to realize and achieve the technical vision of the team.
- Ensuring compliance to software development standards, processes and best practices.
