Oracle America, Inc. is looking to design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software for Exadata engineered systems, including applications that support configuration, installation, and lifecycle management.
Requirements
- Web technologies, including Oracle Jet, Knockout, TypeScript, and JavaScript, along with additional layers to manage and transform XML to JSON and vice versa;
- Version control systems like ADE, enabling effective collaboration and code management;
- RESTful APIs and web services;
- Front-end frameworks and libraries, like Knockout, node and Selenium;
- Database technologies, including Oracle Database, SQL, and NoSQL solutions, to support data manipulation and storage needs;
- Agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban;
- Experience working with Oracle Exascale and managing Exascale clusters, administering block and EDV volumes and vaults, storage pools;
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, troubleshoot, and maintain applications that support the configuration, installation, and lifecycle management of Exadata engineered systems;
- Gather functional requirements from various stakeholders, and design, review, update, and publish new software monthly to meet customer needs;
- Design, develop, test, debug, troubleshoot, and maintain applications in Java and Python;
- Using Java and Python programming languages, to create comprehensive unit tests utilizing JUnit for Java and PyUnit for Python;
- Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux-based systems.
- Deploying, customizing, and managing Linux environments.
- Linux setup, configuration, and maintenance tasks.
Other
- Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation.
