Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is looking to solve the problem of providing innovative cloud services at the intersection of artificial intelligence and cloud infrastructure, specifically with the Oracle Generative AI Code Assist Service, to meet the needs of customers tackling challenging problems.
Requirements
- Strong background in AI/ML, with a focus on generative AI and AI-driven code generation
- Proficient at programming in Java, and one other major programming/scripting language like Python or Go Lang
- Terraform knowledge is a bonus
- Proficient understanding of Continuous Integration and deployment and tools chain like GIT, Maven, Jenkins/Teamcity, etc.
- Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, networking, and distributed systems fundamentals
- Experience with container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes
- Proven experience and knowledge around cloud infrastructure
Responsibilities
- Leading the effort of building distributed, scalable, high-performance generative AI service in partnership with applied scientists and software engineers
- Investigating model structure to optimize model performance and scalability
- Building state of art systems with innovative technologies in the fast evolving area of generative AI
- Developing distributed, fault tolerant, scalable applications
- Implementing container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes
- Designing and building innovative new systems to power customer’s business critical applications
- Operating cloud services maximizing state of art generative AI technologies
Other
- BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding or equivalent practical experience
- 7+ years of related work experience
- Minimum of 5 years hands on experience in developing distributed, fault tolerant, scalable applications
- Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner to all audiences
- Self-motivated and proactive, able to learn quickly and apply new concepts, tools and applications
